taking the plunge...

I have been a long time admirer (o.k. self admitted stalker.... borderline junkie) to the whole blogging arena. I have many favorites that I faithfully check on a daily basis. My blog addictions include: paper crafting, scrapbooking, photography, home decor, cooking, family life, and most recently even sewing. The blog world has been an amazing discovery for me!!! It supplies me with endless inspiration. I have wanted for quite some time now to join this fantastic community.
Today I was visiting a fabulous, favorite blog of mine (
http://polkadotchair.blogspot.com/) and she requested that her readers post their favorite Halloween ideas. Being that Halloween is one of my absolute favorite holidays I was inspired to jump right in and make my first post about a treat that I have been making for the past few years. martha stewart is amazing and i have loved her forever! These ghost pops- dare I say???..... turned out (to my surprise) just as good Martha's!!! They're pretty uncomplicated and require no special molds. Best of all, they are yummy! I get requests for them every year.

I purchased the clear bags (Wilton) at Michael's and tied them closed with different ribbons. Often times I have high expectation for a project only to be a little disappointed when it doesn't turn out just like the photo. These little ghost definitely exceeded my expectations!
